I attended Johns Hopkins University for my bachelor's degree in math. I've tutored students for total of over 3000 hours. I can help students with beginning and advanced math topics, including calculus. I've also tutored students at the private school level and in honors classes. I use patience when I work with students and work at their pace. I also modify my approach to match the needs of each individual student that I work with. I take difficult concepts and explain them in ways that are easier for students to understand. When it comes to math, a lot of times when students struggle it's because they missed something along the way in learning the subject. I figure out what these gaps are and fill them in so that students have a solid understanding of the basics, and then we move on from there. My students have been very successful, and I'm looking forward to helping new students succeed.
